Manama, June 23 (BNA): The Family House for Microfinance held its second Board of Directors meeting for 2025 via video conference, chaired by His Excellency Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, Minister of Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by Dr. Mustafa Ali Al-Sayed, Vice Chairman, and Board members.
During the meeting, the Minister of Social Development affirmed that the Family House will continue to provide flexible and comprehensive financing solutions that contribute to the economic and social empowerment of beneficiary groups.
The meeting discussed several items on the agenda, most notably monitoring the progress of work at the Family House, evaluating performance over the past period, and reviewing the strategic plan to enhance the sustainability of the institution’s social and economic impact.
The Board reviewed the financial and operational performance results for the first quarter of 2025, which demonstrated positive indicators that strengthen the Family House’s position in supporting micro-enterprises in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
