A delegation from Bahrain headed by His Excellency Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Balushi, Minister of Social Development and chairman of the Family Bank participated in the opening ceremony of the World Summit on Social Economy recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, attended by 550 people from various countries around the world.

And has invited Minister Al Balushi to participate in this international event and to participate in one of the open meetings because of the leading role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain in establishing the social economy concepts and partnership in development, including the launch of Family Bank as the first social bank to provide micro Islamic microfinance which targets low – income people , women, youth and the unemployed for work and who has done a number of initiatives including the organization of a week social entrepreneurship for the second year in a row. and be Bahrain delegation of representatives from the Ministry of social development and family Bank and the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Bahrain and enable the Bahrain development Bank.
